n.d., c.1850, Steel engraving with hand colour. Sheet 195 x 295mm. A romantic scene of a grape harvest, engraved by J. Outrim and L. Stocks after a painting by Thomas Uwins. Robert Vernon (1774-1849) gave a 157-picture collection to the nation 1847; housed at first in Marlborough House; it was moved to the South Kensington Museum and then the National Gallery in 1876. It has subsequently been split between the National Gallery and the Tate.
